We believe that law firms should lead by example. That is why we transformed Russo Law Group into a “paper-light” office to minimize our environmental footprint. We swapped disposable cups for reusable mugs and upgraded to eco-conscious copy machines and printers across all our locations.

Because of these ongoing sustainability efforts, GOtham GREEN® honored us with a 2025 Gotham Green Award. This exciting recognition fuels our drive to keep finding new ways to reduce waste. Simple Ways You Can Celebrate Earth Day at Home

You do not need to overhaul your entire life to make a positive impact on the environment. Here are a few simple ways you can build eco-friendly habits right at home:

• Ditch the disposables: Swap out paper plates, plastic grocery bags, and disposable water bottles for reusable alternatives.
• Conserve household energy: Turn off lights when you leave a room and unplug small appliances or electronics you are not using.
• Go paperless: Opt for digital billing and bank statements to cut down on mail clutter and save trees.
• Start a recycling station: Keep a dedicated bin for paper, plastics, and glass to ensure recyclable materials stay out of local landfills.

Join Our 2026 Earth Day Shred Event

Speaking of cutting down on paper clutter, we have the perfect opportunity for you to do some spring cleaning. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 22, 2026. We are hosting our annual Earth Day Shred Event from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we would love to see you there.

You can stop by any of our three office locations in Garden City, Islandia, or Lido Beach. We partnered with Arrow Transfer & Storage to help you securely dispose of sensitive documents like old tax returns, medical records, and personal files. They will safely shred your paperwork to protect you from identity theft and then recycle all the resulting waste to protect the planet.
